UK - Barclays Global Investors' Endowment Fund has posted a 4% loss for the six months to January 31 this year.
The Jersey-based fund – which invests in traded with-profits endowment policies – saw its net asset value fall 4% from 198.3p to 190.3p. This compares to a 16% slump suffered by the FTSE All-Share Index.
The BGI Endowment Fund II and III fell 20.1% and 19.5% respectively over the six months to February 28 – the FTSE All-Share Index fell 14%.
