SWEDEN - Sjunde AP-fonden (AP7) is to re-tender for a Far-East equity manager, a Japanese equity manager and an active European equity manager worth a combined SEK7.3bn (US$963m).
Schroders currently manages a SEK1.6bn Far East brief, Nomura Asset Management holds a SEK3.3bn Japanese equity mandate, and Goldman Sachs Asset Management runs a SEK2.4bn European investment.
AP7 is mandated to re-tender mandates after five years.
Peter Norman (pictured), executive president, AP7 said that the fund was also nearing an appointment of a SEK2.4bn European equity mandate, following the termination of the CDC IXIS brief in November last year.
Goldman Sachs Asset Management has been the interim manager.
