US fund manager Provident Investment Advisors (PIA) has appointed Ralph Hodge as vice president and portfolio manager specialising in fixed income.
As a fixed income portfolio manager, Hodge will manage the accounts of high net worth individuals and institutional clients. Additionally, he will assist with the management of the Riverfront US government money market and US government income funds.
Prior to PIA Hodge was at Fifth Third Bank Investment Advisors, most recently as assistant vice president and senior trust officer.
*Cincinnati-based PIA has $2.6bn in assets under management, a major portion of which is fixed income securities. The firm also advises the Riverfront family of funds - six mutual funds - three equity funds, one balanced fund, one bond fund and one money market fund.
