UK - KPMG is carrying out a study on a proposed merger between the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the British Bankers' Association.
The study will be handed over to the two governing bodies in July. They will then consult with their membership. The study will look at the timescale involved in order to best represent the business interests in the sector, said an ABI spokesperson.
