Investment managers Julius Baer (JBIM) has expanded its non-traditional funds group (NTFG) in New York.
The move is part of the firm’s plan to develop its alternative investment activities, headed by JBIM director of research for NTFG, Robert Serhaus.
The new appointments include:
*Timothy Lee joins as senior analyst from Graham Capital.*Robert Roamer joins as research analyst covering relative-value investment strategies from Bernard Madoff Investment Securities.*Kathryn Cicoletto is appointed as research analyst for the global macro sector.
Members of the existing group who will take on additional duties include senior research analyst Jeff Haindl, now responsible for research and selection of US hedged equity managers, and Sandy Shen, who works alongside Haindl as a research analyst.
