GLOBAL - io Investors, an asset manager specialising in the manager-of-managers model, yesterday unveiled its low volatility hedge fund-of-funds.
The low volatility hedge fund of funds is the first in a range of alternative investment products io investors plans to launch over the next year. The fund benefits from access to constituent funds, some of which are closed to new investors, and with $50m initial commitment it is one of the larger initial-seedings for a fund of this type within the industry.
According to io Investors, the fund has already attracted significant interest from institutional investors.
