UK - Speechly Bircham has hired Penny Cogher as a senior solicitor.
Cogher previously worked as a pensions solicitor at Allen & Overy with a wide variety of clients from the telecommunications, manufacturing, shipping, banking and energy industries.
Her appointment comes as the direct result of the growth in Speechly Bircham’s pension practice.
She will be advising corporate clients and trustees with emphasis on the solvency and restructuring of final salary schemes and pension developments generally.
She reports to head of pensions Xenia Frostick.
