DUBAI - The Dubai International Financial Centre has appointed Lynton Jones chairman of its proposed Dubai Regional Financial Exchange.
Jones, 59, is an experienced financial exchange professional, having run exchanges specialising in equities, derivatives and energy products.
He has particular expertise in the creation of new ventures, such as NASDAQ’s European operation.
Unusually for an exchange professional, Jones' early career was spent in the UK diplomatic service.
