GERMANY - Mercer Human Resourcing has appointed Peter Doetsch as head of its retirement business in Germany.
Doetsch replaces Raimund Rheil who joined the company in 2003 from KPMG, when its Actuarial Services unit merged with Mercer. At KPMG he was a partner and head of the Actuarial Services unit.
Doetsch joins Mercer from the pension fund for the German construction industry (Zusatzversorgungskasse des Baugewerbes), Wiesbaden, where he was a member of the executive board. before that he was a management board member at a German HR-consulting firm.
