US- The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) has hired Goode Investment Management as co-manager of its $45m stable value fund.
The $64.5bn pension scheme selected a second manger because the assets under management in the stable value fund is increasing. Invesco, which has managed the fund since its December 2002 inception, will continue as co-manager.
The manager selection search was conducted with OPERS consultant Ennis Knupp + Associates, based on criteria including “quantitative analysis capabilities, experience, and expertise of investment professionals, operational philosophy, collaborative abilities and competitive fees.”
