The Bank of New York (BoNY) has acquired a 4.9% stake in Dutch-based custodian Kas-Associatie for investment purposes. Kas-Associatie provides securities custody services and settlement and administration of securities and derivatives transactions and its client base comprises institutional investors, banks, brokers, investment institutions, and private clients.
The bank employs a staff of 750 at offices in Amsterdam and London.
