WestAM appoints new fixed income head
Asset management house WestAM has appointed Nigel Jenkins as head of global fixed income and currencies.
Jenkins is replacing Jacqueline Spears who has resigned from the company to take a career break.
Jenkins joins WestAM from Rothschild Asset Management, where he served as an executive and director responsible for the firm’s dollar bloc and global bond portfolios for 12 years. This included six years as a director of Rothschild’s fixed interest and currency group.
Jenkins will lead WestAM's global fixed income and currency team in London and will report to global investment head Stan Beckers.
