UK - Nomura Asset Management UK has appointed Philip Sellers as an advisor to its London-based operation.
Nomura said the appointment of Sellers is recognition of its intention to expand its UK client list.
Sellers career includes a stint as a trustee of the Post Office Pension Funds (now Consignia), where he was involved in a number of external manager appointments.
Commenting on his appointment, Mark Roxburgh, head of marketing and client service for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: We're delighted that Philip will be helping us. He has a wealth of experience in the UK pension fund market and we firmly believe the guidance he will be able to give will help us take full advantage of the opportunities that we see ahead.”
