US - Katherine Lindberg has joined Northern Trust Global Advisors in the newly created position of vice president to its private equity group, based in Chicago.
Lindberg will hold responsibility for the sourcing, due diligence and closing of fund investment opportunities, as well as the ongoing management of the private equity portfolio. She joins the investment advisors from William Blair Mezzanine Capital Partners where she oversaw the due diligence, negotiation of mezzanine debt opportunities related to leverage acquisitions, recapitalisations, and management buyouts of private companies.
Prior to William Blair, Lindberg worked for Banc One Capital Markets in Chicago where she was a director in the high yield securities and private placements group, as well as serving a stint in the firm’s corporate banking unit.
