Clerical Medical Investment Management has announced a raft of mandate wins since the beginning of this year, acquiring more than £125m from 26 pooled fund clients.
Appointments include a £22m mixed portfolio from Merloni Domestic Appliances, a £10m profiler mandate from Toray Textiles Europe, an £8m mixed mandate from APW Electronics and a £16m specialist portfolio from The Wellcome Trust Retirement & Death Benefits Scheme.
The schemes were advised by consultants Heath Lambert, William M Mercer, Camra and JTL Benefit Solutions Trust respectively.
Director of pensions at Clerical Medical David Somers said: We have achieved a tremendous amount this year in terms of building the company’s profile among clients, consultants and trustees. The new mandate wins are a tribute to a fantastic team performance over the past year in terms of fund management and client servicing.
With the integration of the former Equitable bonds, assets under management for the half-year stands at more than £65bn.
