UK - The £1.25bn Norfolk County Council Superannuation Fund is considering an allocation into private equity of between 3-5%.
The superannuation fund will be looking at the diversification of the portfolio at the next trustee meeting on March 26, following an actuarial evaluation. Deutsche Asset Management currently runs 50% of the fund on a balanced basis. The remaining assets are managed by Fidelity Investments and SG Asset Management which run equity briefs, Morley Fund Management which runs a property brief and Henderson Global Investors which manages a fixed income mandate.
