UK - Investec Asset Management has implemented a portfolio management tool for its fixed income portfolios.
The product – developed in conjunction with software specialist thinkFolio – enables Investec to model potential trade ideas, and manipulate portfolios prior to execution.
The firm said the new automated transaction system replaced “many analytical tools” and had resulted in a reduction in the time between “idea generation and execution”.
Investec hopes to centralise its entire trading process for all asset classes this summer following the installation of equity portfolio analysis into the thinkFolio system.
