German bank Commerzbank has appointed Volker Doberanzke as global chief operating officer for the firm's asset management division.
In this position Doberanzke will be globally responsible for the coordination of all support functions of Commerzbank`s asset management business.
He will also be closely involved in strategic aspects of further developing Commerzbank`s global asset management activities.
Doberanzke reports to global head of asset management, Friedrich Schmitz.
Prior to joining Commerzbank, he worked for Dresdner Bank group, most recently as a director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London, globally responsible for management reporting at the expense management function of Dresdner`s investment banking division.
