AUSTRALIA - David Stuart has left his position as regional Asia-Pacific CIO at HSBC Asset Management to join Mercer Investment Consulting.
In his new role, Stuart will consult to a number of key institutional clients.
Mercer business leader in Australia Simon Eagleton said of the appointment: “David brings to Mercer more than 20 years experience in investment strategy, both domestically and internationally and across all major asset classes.” Stuart began his career as a UK equity portfolio manager for the British Gas Pension Fund, and has spent time as investment director and CIO at Norwich Investment Management and Prudential Portfolio Management Australia. Stuart holds an MA in Economics and Mathematics, from Cambridge University in the UK.
