SCOTLAND/US - Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Phil Chappell as investment director for US markets from October.
He will report to Graham Wood, investment director, head of global sectors and international research, and will have a joint stock analyst/fund manager role.
Chappell joins SWIP from Schroder Investment Management where he held a similar position until May 2002.
