ASIA - Johnson Stokes & Master has appointed Phillip Smith as head of its funds practice.
Smith has been a partner in JSM's Financial Services Group for a number of years, with experience of distressed debt funds, guaranteed funds, hedge funds, smoothed growth funds and exchange traded funds.
He has been in Hong Kong since 1988.
Another new appointment in the funds practice team is Kevin Brocklehurst from Lang Michener in Canada.
