UK - Alexander Forbes Financial Services (AFFS) has been appointed as consultant to marketing firm Added Value's group pension scheme.
Alexander Forbes will advise all staff members on membership of the pension scheme and on the benefits of salary sacrifice and additional services, including permanent health insurance and private medical insurance.
Clair O’Brien, human resources manager at Added Value, saidthe appointment had led to a successful communications programme which had increased the pension scheme’s membership, as well as the contributions paid in.
Stephen Lawson, new business consultant at Alexander Forbes, said the communication system and the introduction of salary exchange and additional benefits to the existing pension scheme had doubled member contributions for the scheme in two months.
