MSCI hedge fund index posts growth

GLOBAL - The MSCI Hedge Fund Composite Index, which covers over 1200 hedge funds, grew by 1.3% in January.

This compares to annual growth of 3.7% during 2002 and a performance of 1.2% in December last year. In contrast the MSCI World Equity Index plunged 21.1% last year while its World Sovereign Debt...
