NETHERLANDS - APG Group has appointed Dr Olaf Sleijpen as managing director for institutional clients who would also sit on the Cordares board of directors following the impending merger.
He would move from his current position of director of group strategy and policy of APG and board of management secretary for the APG Group.
Marco Brouwer, current secretary of the Cordares Holding board of directors and APG Supervisory Board has been slated to take over Sleijpen's present position.
The APG Group and Cordares merger has been scheduled for the beginning of September 2008 (www.globalpensions.com 21 April).
