UK - Frank Russell has added US and UK quantitative funds to its multi-manager range.
The four selected to manage the US quantitative fund are Barclays Global Investors, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, Franklin Portfolio Associates and Jacobs Levy Equity Management.
Barclays Global Investors, Fidelity Investments and Axa Rosenberg Investment Management are included in the UK quantitative fund.Axa Rosenberg chief executive officer Jennie Paterson said: “This is the third time in three years that we have now been selected to play a key role as one of the managers for a Russell fund and we hope that our relationship continues to develop.”
The two funds are designed to to offer specific diversification opportunities by making available a range of quantitative strategies not typically found in most US and UK equity mandates.
The funds will be characterised by low tracking error levels and a range of highly diversified managers.
