NETHERLANDS - EUR150bn pension fund ABP has appointed Advanced Investment Technologies (AIT) to run an undisclosed US large-cap equity mandate.
The mandate stems from the launch of State Street Global Alliance (SSGA) in February - the joint venture between the Heerlen-based fund and financial services group, State Street.
SSGA holds equity stakes in the capital of fledgling speciality asset management firms - AIT being a member firm.
No consultant was used in the appointment.
