EUROPE - ING Investment Management is to buy Swiss multi-manager Altis Investment Management in a move boost its European fiduciary business.
"This move contributes to ING IM's ambition to be a leading solutions provider for its diversified client base and responds to increasing market demand for a fiduciary management approach," ING IM said in the statement.
"Altis' extensive experience adds significant strength to the multi-management products and client solutions offered by ING IM."
The firm added that Altis offered a transparent bottom-up manager selection process, sophisticated portfolio construction tools and risk management.
"With robust track record Altis' experienced and research-led team has enabled investment results that have proven to be highly consistent over time," it said.
