EUROPE - Fund management consultancy Investit has hired Brian Hill, formerly a partner at Watson Wyatt, as a specialist.
At Watson Wyatt, Hill headed the Continental European investment consulting business and founded Watson Wyatt’s global custody consulting business.
At Investit, he will work on Investit’s Business Process Assessment (BPA) tool, which measures the quality and performance of investment management companies’ business processes. He will also focus on custodian product offerings and custodian relationships in the pan-European market.
Separately, Schroders has appointed Stephen Brooks group financial controller and deputy CFO.
Brooks joins from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he is currently global chief financial officer. Managing the global finance function and working closely with Jonathan Asquith, group CFO, on investor and analyst relations, Brooks will take up his new position on 3 January.
