EUROPE - Fortis Investment Management, the asset manager of Fortis, has opened an office in Luxembourg.
This initiative follows the integration within the company of part of Banque Générale du Luxembourg’s asset management activities.
Headed by Yves Wagner, CEO, Fortis Investment Management Luxembourg is both a sales office for institutional clients and the investment centre for two asset classes: fund of funds for long only products and alternative (hedge fund) products.
Fortis said: “The Luxembourg market and funds of funds in particular are core to Fortis Investment Management’s strategy.”
