UK - Ashmore Investment Management has assets under management in excess of $5bn in emerging market debt.
Ashmore said it had seen strong demand over the last two years for its three main emerging markets strategies – dollar-denominated debt, local currency debt and equity.
The dollar debt fund has returned 36% per annum over the last five years while local currency debt, which is less volatile, has returned 31%.
