NORDICS - Rune Sanbeck, previously head of institutional business at Danske Capital in Denmark, has joined Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in the London office, Global Pensions can exclusively reveal.
The appointment is part of a push by BGI to expand its institutional business offering in Denmark and the Nordics in general, said Mike O’Brien, managing director of European institutional clients at BGI.
Sanbeck has joined as client relationship officer for the Nordic region.
Svend Erik Andersen, head of institutional clients at Danske Capital in Copenhagen said the firm would not be replacing Sanbeck.
His responsibilities have been taken on by Henrik Bak, senior vice president, he added.
