UK - JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has announced the appointment of John Donohue as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the London-based fixed income group and Dominic Powell, as head of Collateralised Debt Obligation product team.
Dominic Powell joins from Henderson Global Investors where he was head of investment solutions. Powell will be responsible for working alongside JPMAM’s New York/London fixed income investment teams.
An employee since 1997, Donohue, in addition to his new role, continues to oversee both JPMAM’s New York/London Short Term Investment team and the Global Cash Investment team.
Seth Bernstein, global head of fixed income at JPMAM, said: “These two key appointments highlight our continued commitment to our fixed income business. As CIO of the London investment group, John Donohue will oversee the ongoing integration of our London and New York fixed income investment team, he’ll work to identify new investment opportunities, and strengthen our existing London-based sector teams.”
