UK actuary Punter Southall has launched a new investment consultancy targeting institutional investors, including pension funds.
PSolve will be headed by Mike Faulkner and Andrew Drake - who join from rival consultancy Towers Perrin - and Danny Vassiliades, a principal at the firm.
The initiative aims to devise solutions for clients on a ‘case-by-case’ basis, focusing on specific problems as opposed to using a purely theoretical approach.
Commenting on the launch, Vassiliades added: “PSolve will focus on real client need, rather than trying to fit established products into a place they don’t necessarily belong.”
