UK independent investment house Morley Fund Management has strengthened its corporate research team with the appointment of Julie Thomas as investment analyst.
Morley has more than 20 analysts in its corporate research team worldwide. Thomas - who will be based in London - will cover financials and will focus on the European banking sector.
She joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management where she was a portfolio manager with responsibility for pan-European banks and other financials. Thomas started her career in 1986, and joined CINMan in 1993 prior to its acquisition by Goldman Sachs.
Thomas reports to Donald Tosh, head of corporate research.
