UK/EUROPE - Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) has appointed Jay Bhutani as an energy analyst in the European equity research team.
He joins CSAM from Lehman Brothers where he was a senior oil and gas analyst.
Bhutani will assist CSAM’s European portfolio management team, based in London, Zurich, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and New York, as well as supporting the firm’s US domestic and emerging markets portfolio management teams, located in New York and London.
The appointment brings the number of analysts in the European equity research team to 15.
Bhutani reports to Ella Brown, head of European equity.
