SOUTH AFRICA - RMB MultiManagers has appointed Florbela Yates as head of institutional marketing, South Africa, ahead of the launch of its institutional investment management services to the South African market, planned for this month.
Yates, who will be based in Johannesburg, will be responsible for expanding the firm’s offshore institutional business in South Africa and will report to Jeremy Beswick, head of business development, in the UK head office.
She joins from Investment Solutions, where she was a senior marketing executive focussing on new business and product development within the institutional marketing division.
Commenting on the appointment, Beswick said: “Florbela is a well-known and respected marketing professional who has a proven track record of winning and maintaining new accounts in the South African institutional marketplace. She brings a wealth of experience, contacts and knowledge to RMB MultiManagers.”
