Julian York joins UK-based multi-managers Attica Asset Management as head of portfolio analysis.
York’s responsibilities in the newly-created position include the quantitative aspects of Attica’s research processes, and client-reporting for institutional multi-manager clients. He will report to Attica’s directors, Derrick Dunne and Guy Davies.
York said about his appointment: “I am convinced that the multi-manager approach will take a significant share of the pension fund market over the coming years... .”
Previously, he worked as an investment consultant for Punter Southall & Co.
The position takes effect from May 1.
