UK - Investec Asset Management has further strengthened its UK institutional business development team with the appointment of Craig Hurt.
Hurt joins the team in London from Investec’s office in South Africa, where he was held a similar role developing its fixed income business.
Hurt will report to Mark Samuelson, global head of institutional business development.
Commenting on the appointment, Samuelson said: “Craig has joined our team from South Africa were he was very successful in spearheading our thrust into the South African bond market.
“His appointment here in London further demonstrates our commitment to the UK institutional market where we have been awarded a number of recent mandates from a range of clients.”
