
Santander Central Hispano AM adopts HiInvest
SPAIN - Santander Central Hispano Asset Management, Spain's largest fund manager, has gone live on HiInvest, a fund management and order generation system from solution provider, DST International. Santander, which has E61.2bn under management, has replaced fund managers' spreadsheets, which were used for managing and rebalancing the portfolios and trade processing. HiInvest is fully integrated with Santander's back office system, providing a more robust link between the trading processand settlement functions.
Santander is DST’s first Spanish client. The firm is also looking to enhance the balancing algorithms in HiInvest to accommodate the fixed income portfolio modelling needs of fund managers.
