UK - Financial advisers will face a powerful challenge from high street banks that transform themselves into financial centres, a report from Datamonitor claims.
The independent market analyst said banks would undergo radical changes over the coming years and would become “crucial” to the distribution of financial products.
The report – Branch Renewal in European Retail Banking – predicts that these “renewed” branches will make up 19% of the total by 2005.
