UK - Multi managers SEI Investments has appointed Robert Aller as managing director for European financial institutions, based in London.
Aller will oversee the technology and investment needs of European-based institutions, including the development of asset management strategy.
He has been with SEI for 10 years. For the last 6 years he was responsible for the development of SEI‘s investment products for US investors, based at the firm’s head office in Pennsylvania. Before this he was the national sales manager for the investment advisory group and was also a part of the defined contribution and defined benefit marketing team.
Prior to joining SEI, Aller spent 5 years with consumer products manufacturer Procter and Gamble as a brand manager.
In his new position he will work with Joe Ujobai, managing director, SEI Europe, and Patricia Lewers, who also relocated to the London office from the US responsible for product development in the UK/European high net worth investor markets.
