New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM) has appointed Steven Schneider as senior managing director and chief financial officer.
Schneider will be responsible for overseeing NYLIM’s financial affairs
Prior to joining the firm he was MD and CFO for Deutsche Asset Management. Before that Schneider served as MD and CFO for Bankers Trust Company’s Private Clients Group.
*In June the $119bn NYLIM acquired McMorgan & Company, a manager of Taft-Hartley pension plans located in San Francisco.
