SWITZERLAND - The currency and alternative investment manager Millennium Global Investments has opened a new office in Switzerland.
Based in Geneva, the office will be headed up Veronique Farserotu and initially will be providing general support activities to the Millennium group, including accounting, compliance and research support.
The manager, with US$9bn in assets under management currently has professionals working in London, Guernsey, Miami, Singapore and Delhi.
London focuses on trading and risk management. Guernsey is dedicated to operations, settlements, marketing and investor relations. While research support is provided from Miami, while Singapore and Delhi look at Asian investment opportunities.
Former home secretary Amber Rudd is to return to the cabinet as work and pensions secretary after the resignation of Esther McVey.
