US - Investment manager and advisors, J & W Seligman & Co has hired Alan Puklin as senior vice president for institutional client relations unit, a newly-created position.
Puklin will be based in New York and will report to Rodney Smith, managing director for the firm’s US and offshore institutional business.
Puklin’s institutional experience spans around 20, most recently as director and client relations manager with Brinson Partners. Before that he served in a number of senior positions, including managing director, national sales and marketing with MD Sass Investor Services, and as director, national sales and client services for Key Asset Management.
