UK - Mercer Human Resource Consulting has expanded its London-based international consulting team with four senior appointments.
The appointments were made in anticipation of an “expanding market” across Europe.
UK head of international consulting Alastair Hunter said: “Increasingly, European firms are looking to adopt a global or regional approach to the management of pay and benefits.”
Piia Pilv will lead Mercer’s global stock plan consulting team as a European partner, after holding a similar role in its Amsterdam office.
Alexy Armitage joins Mercer as a European principal, focusing on consulting with multinational companies on global stock plans.
Armitage is a solicitor with experience in employee share plans, employment taxation and employee benefits, most recently with Baker & McKenzie.
Robert Lockley has been appointed senior consultant and will give advice to multinational companies on all aspects of their global employee benefits strategies.
He joins from Towers Perrin, where he was responsible for advising clients on benefit design, governance and pension scheme funding.
Peter Blake joins as a European principal and senior consultant from Mercer’s Chicago office.
He will focus on financing of global retirement and benefit plans.
