
Pacific Alternative AM opens London office
UK/EUROPE - Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company is to open an office in London and has hired four senior management professionals.
Stephen Oxley joins as managing director, Europe. Previously a partner and senior investment consultant at Watson Wyatt, he will help establish the European entity and, once regulated, will be responsible for developing PAAMCO's business with European institutions.
Oxley will be joined in London by Alper Ince, director, who is responsible for European hedge fund manager research. Three other senior executives have been recruited to join PAAMCO in the US.
Galin Georgiev, previously a vice president at Bank of America, joins as the director of risk management.
Von Hughes, previously managing director at Utendahl Capital Partner, joins as director of client services.
Brian Mathis, previously a vice president at JPMorgan Chase, joins as director in portfolio management.
