UK - Gartmore has appointed Chris Burvill to the new role of head of UK equity income.
He joins from Investec where he has spent the last ten years, most recently as head of UK equity income. He was also lead manager of several Investec unitised income products and investment trusts worth approximately £1bn.
Burvill reports to Jon Thornton, head of UK equities. The team now includes Brian Gallagher, formerly of Prolific, and Richard Prvulovich who also worked at Investec.
