UK-based business support specialist, Amey has appointed William M Mercer to take over from Aon Consulting as consultants for two of its defined benefit pension schemes.
The FTSE250 company employs more than 7,000 staff in the UK and has a turnover of £700m.
Mercer was chosen above three other consultants - namely Bacon & Woodrow, Watson Wyatt and Barnett Waddingham.
Amey’s two final salary schemes have a combined membership of 1,500 and a fund value of £60m.
