UK - InvestIT, the investment management consultancy and IT solutions provider, has hired Richard Phillipson to head up its investment practice.
Phillipson brings with him 14 years experience in the investment market, including several senior stints at AXA Investment Managers; Fleming Fund Marketing, and Friends Ivory & Sime. During that time he was responsible for a number of key assignments, including fund creation and management across a wide range of institutional and retail products.
At InvestIT, Phillipson's role will be to work on projects to communicate investment philosophy and process amongst InvestIT’s client base, including Deutsche, Henderson, Legal & General Investment Management, Aberdeen and Dresdner RCM.
The firm also said it was working on embedding hedge fund management and processing in mainstream fund managers.
