EUROPE - PIMCO Europe has appointed Henk Jan van Zoelen of Watson Wyatt as a senior account manager, focussing on servicing Dutch institutional clients.
van Zoelen, who will be based in London, has been with Watson Wyatt since 2001 and previously held positions with WM Company and Stad Rotterdam.
PIMCO Europe said its Benelux team was “strengthened considerably” with van Zoelen’s appointment. The firm opened a representative office for the Benelux region in Rotterdam in February 2001.
David Young, head of account management for PIMCO Europe, said : ”With the appointment of van Zoelen we are making a big step forward in servicing our Benelux client base. His extensive experience offers us the possibility to further develop our local expertise.”
